Collecting tips
- Look in Volcanic and Metamorphic Terrains. Bloodstone is often found in areas with past volcanic activity or where metamorphic rocks are present, as it forms in cavities and fissures within these rock types.
- Check Alluvial Deposits. Due to its hardness and resistance to weathering, Bloodstone can be found in riverbeds and gravel deposits, having been eroded from its primary source.
