Collecting tips
- Look for Sedimentary and Volcanic Terrains. Jasper often forms in association with ancient volcanic activity, hydrothermal vents, or as precipitates in sedimentary basins. Look for areas with chert beds, volcanic tuffs, or altered sedimentary rocks.
